How to request account deletion

1. Email hello@chopda.app from the email address registered with your Chopda account.
2. Use the subject Delete my Chopda account.
3. Include your registered email address and mobile number so we can identify the correct account. Never send us your password or OTP.
4. We will verify that the request is from the account owner, process it, and confirm when deletion is complete.

If you cannot access your registered email address, contact us using the registered mobile number and explain the issue. Additional verification may be required.

What we delete

Subject to lawful retention requirements, deletion removes:

• your Chopda profile, login credentials, verification status, and active sessions;
• registered mobile devices, push tokens, and device access records;
• Chopda company and branch records and their Tally Connector pairing mappings;
• subscription, plan-usage, and AI question allowance records that are not required for legal or security purposes; and
• support and account information that we no longer need.

Deleting your Chopda account disconnects it from Tally. Chopda does not edit or delete accounting entries stored inside your Tally software.

What we may retain

We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary or legally required, including:

• payment, invoice, transaction, tax, and accounting records required by law;
• fraud-prevention, security, audit, dispute, and legal-compliance records; and
• restricted backup copies until they are removed through our normal backup-rotation process.

Retained information is restricted to these purposes and is not used to provide the deleted account with product features or marketing.

Remove Tally data from your phone

Detailed Tally records are stored in an encrypted database on your mobile device. Account deletion blocks future authenticated access, but it cannot guarantee a remote wipe from an offline, lost, or previously used phone. Clear Chopda's app data or uninstall the app on every phone to remove its local records.

After deletion

The deletion cannot be reversed. You may create a new Chopda account later, but your previous workspace, connections, and history will not be restored.
