INSTALLATION GUIDE

Follow these three steps

Keep Tally open on the Windows PC and sign in to the Chopda mobile app before you start.

Get a pairing code in Chopda

  1. Open the Chopda mobile app and sign in.
  2. Create or select your company and branch.
  3. Tap Connect Tally or Generate pairing code.
  4. Keep the six-digit code on screen. You will enter it on the PC.
Code expired? Generate a new code and use only the latest one.

Install on the computer running Tally

  1. On the Tally PC, click Download connector.
  2. Open Ellvero-Agent-Setup-0.5.21.msi.
  3. Enter the pairing code when the installer asks for it.
  4. Click Install & connect and allow setup to finish.

If Windows asks for administrator permission, choose Yes or ask your IT administrator.

Check that the PC is connected

  1. Keep Tally open and load the company you want to use.
  2. Return to the branch in the Chopda app.
  3. Tap Done / Code Entered or refresh the connection status.
  4. When you see Connected, setup is complete.
You are ready.Chopda can now read companies, ledgers, vouchers, and reports from this PC.

PowerShell recovery commands

  1. Generate a new pairing code in the Chopda app.
  2. On the Tally PC, search for PowerShell, right-click it, and choose Run as administrator.
  3. Copy the commands below and replace PASTE_CODE_HERE with your new code.
  4. Paste into PowerShell and press Enter. Then return to Chopda and tap Done / Code Entered.

Important

Run these commands only on the computer where Ellvero Agent was installed. Never share your pairing code with another person. The code is temporary and is used only to connect this PC to your branch.

QUICK CHECKS

Common setup problems

The app says the branch is offline

Confirm that the PC has internet access, Tally is open, and the “Ellvero Tally Connector Agent” Windows service is running.

Chopda says the company is not open

Open that exact company in Tally on the connected PC, then retry. The selected company name must match.

The pairing code is invalid

Create a fresh code in the same Chopda branch. Pairing codes expire, and only the newest code should be used.

The connector limit is reached

Revoke an old Windows connector from your Chopda device list, or use a plan that allows more connectors.
